 Meaning of Antonyms:-

There are words which mean the opposite of one another. Such words are called Antonyms.

👉Antonyms can also be formed by using prefixes like un, in, im, il, ir, dis & mis. Look at the        following Example:

un-    unsuitable, unnecessary

in-    incomplete, independent

im-    immoral, impatient

il-      illegal,illiterate

ir-     irrelevant, irregular

dis-   disconnect, disobey

mis-   misbehave, misguide

Meaning of Synonyms:-

 "Words having the same or nearly the same meaning are called synonyms".

There are no true synonyms in the English language; all words have slightly different meanings. We should have aware of the shades of difference in the meaning of synonyms.
